Superb instument , 02/12/2013
By Jazzman
"Keyboard good for beginners" is an understatment that made me hesitate about ordering one. In fact, it's way beyond my expectations. The actual keyboard is a joy to play on, and very inspiring, even though it's not weighted. I have two costly Yamaha instruments with weighted keys, and they are very good, but I can play better on this Casio, especially the fast runs.

Its speakers are all right for what they are, but playing through a good amp is a revelation. Split keyboard on organ is terrific. Straight tones above, Leslie sound below. To my surprise, sustain pedal used with drawbar organ opens up exciting possibilities. I'm not one for auto accompaniments, but "jazz combo" is like playing with live musicians on a gig.

This really is a superb musicians' instrument at a giveaway price. Wish I'd had one years ago.

Bought a Casio not expecting much fo rthe money I paid but now got it and its good. I really like the recording side which is why I bought this, but the Casio has inspired me to write my own songs. The sounds are a lot better than I thought I would get for the money.
Very good value , 05/08/2013

I bought this keyboard for my 15 year old son so dont know much about keyboards, but it seems very good value for money and has a really big range of different functions and sounds good. My son is very impressed and hasn't come off it yet! Recommended.
Unbeliveable value for money, excellent sound quaility and wide range of features. , 02/08/2013

Just got my Casio 7000 and it is fantastic! I dont understand all the features it has, but the possibilities seem endless. You can even record audio data from an external source, so if you have friend who plays the guitar you can plug this in and record both your playing on the keys and him on guitar. The sound quality is really good for all the instruments I have tried, and you can mix sounds and balance everything. i dont really use organ sounds, but you have sliders which make all types of sounds. All this for under £200...highly recomended!!!!
