Companders kill
Around here, "compander" is a dirty word. Many wireless systems require companders to transmit their signals. The problem is that companders kill sound quality by compressing and expanding the signal. Line 6 digital wireless systems - including XD-V digital wireless microphones - have never required companders. Instead they feature 4th-generation digital wireless technology for superior sound quality.

Line 6 digital modeling
XD-V70 is outfitted with digital models, or detailed sonic reproductions, based on* six top live-sound mics including a Shure® SM58®, a Shure® Beta 58A®, a Sennheiser® e 835 and more. With the touch of a button on the microphone shaft, you can select a model to fit your voice, your venue, or the rest of your rig. XD-V30 features one microphone model based on* a Shure® SM58®. (Modeling available in XD-V70 and XD-V30 only.)

The "super" model
XD-V70 includes a seventh microphone model, L6-DC7. Nicknamed the "super" model, this original mic model combines the sought-after sparkle of top condenser mics, the ruggedness and high dynamic range of dynamic mics, and plenty of responsiveness to cut through the mix. (XD-V70 only.)

Removable mic capsule
The removable capsule allows you to further customize the microphone's polar pattern, frequency response, and more. Compatible capsules include a variety from Shure® and Heil®. (XD-V70 and XD-V30 only.)

Dynamic environment filter
This "smart" and adjustable dynamic filter reduces unwanted ambient sound, increases vocal articulation and prevents unintentional handling noise. (XD-V70 only)

4x the signal reliability
XD-V digital wireless microphone systems employ frequency diversity to keep your signal free of interference. That means that your signal is transmitted over four different frequencies – other wireless systems transmit over one. XD-V digital wireless microphone systems excel, even in hostile RF environments.

2.4GHz broadcast
The best way to avoid interference? Don't get in its way. Broadcasting in the 2.4GHz band successfully avoids interference caused by TV stations, cell phone towers, and other high-powered sources. Plus, it can be used around the world without a license.

What about WiFi?
Worried about interference caused by 2.4GHz WiFi networks and Bluetooth® devices? Don't be. XD-V digital wireless systems use uniquely addressed and encoded digital transmission technology. Your signal will travel from your transmitter to your receiver free of interference.

Built-in antenna distribution
Save time, money and energy. The built-in loop-through antenna distribution system eliminates the need for additional external units. This saves rack space and potentially hundreds of dollars in additional expenses. Plus, it provides DC power to operate paddle antennas. (XD-V70 and XD-V70L only).

Rack mount kit
The included rack mount kit includes an antenna front-mount kit, rack ears and rack mounting hardware for easy installation into a standard 19-inch rack. Plus, multiple receivers quickly interlock to fabricate multi-channel rack systems. (XD-V70 and XD-V70L only)

Battery life management
Clear, easy-to-read displays on the transmitters and receivers provide accurate battery life data. No more unexpected dead batteries – you'll always know how much juice you have left. Get 8 hours of constant usage from two AA alkaline batteries (included).
