Overview:

The Aulos 507E is part of the Symphony line, which are the highest-end models made by Aulos. This series is more historically accurate and provides players a reduced, elevated instrument with good intonation and response. It is dark brown, in three pieces, with an ivory-colored mouthpiece and foot. It has excellent, accurate tuning and features an arched windway for more expressive playing and dynamic versatility. The recorder is in the key of F and the register is from f'' (1.5 octaves above middle C) to g'' (2 octaves above). Despite the high-pitched sound that sopranino size recorders produce, the Aulos 507E symphony soprano plastic recorder produces incredibly lovely melodies. It has a rich, balanced tone throughout the registers and is capable of expressing itself fully.

This symphony recorder is completely playable even for large hands, just need some practice especially if you are used to playing a bigger flute. It is composed of high-quality ABS plastic and comes in three pieces that fit together yet are secured. It is also supplied in a smart leatherette bag with a cleaning rod, joint grease, and a fingering chart.
