Nord Piano 5 88 Key Stage Piano

The Piano 5 is the latest edition of Nord's award-winning Piano series is equipped with dual piano engines, dual sample synths and twice the memory of their previous generation. Featuring Nord's virtual hammer action technology, the Piano 5 delivers outstanding authenticity and dynamic response resulting in amazing control at any velocity level.

It doesn't stop there. The Nord Piano 5 is packed with seamingly endless features from piano types, banks and effects, through to split point crossfades, velocity response curves and a selection of connections. 

Overview:

The Piano and Sample Synth sections of the Nord Piano 5 each contain two independent Layers. The two Pianos and two Sample Synths can be used simultaneously in a variety of split or Layer configurations. Combined with the versatile effects routing, a wide range of combinations can be achieved - from classic ensemble settings to rich soundscapes. The LED equipped Level controls allow for quick and precise balancing of all Layer volume levels. A Volume Pedal and/or Sustain Pedal can be assigned to each Layer.  

With dedicated dials and buttons for full hands-on control during a live performance, you can easily transpose, set up a split point or create a layered sound in an instant. Switch between sounds or programs whilst playing, without any worry of audio glitches thanks to the Piano 5's seamless transitions.

The Nord Piano 4 features an 88-note keybed with Virtual Hammer Action Technology providing fluid playability and natural, dynamic response. Piano 4 also boasts greatly expanded polyphony, now up to 120 voices, as well as a built-in factory bank including premium-grade soundbanks including the latest grand, upright, electric and digital pianos.
