Yamaha's MX88 is a synthesizer that's ideal for modern pianists, aspiring music producers, and live performers. The MX88 has 88 full-sized, touch-sensitive keys that have a Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) weighted action. There are more than 1,000 voices on board that come from the legendary MOTIF series. The MX88 also has a built-in audio and MIDI interface so that you can easily connect it to a computer. This flagship model will open the door to all sorts of musical creativity.

MX88: Doubles as a DAW controller

This synth has another trick up its sleeve too, it can also be used as a DAW controller!  Adjusting parameters in recording software can be done using certain controls on the MX88 that have assignable functionality. Use the MX88's MIDI interface to control other synths or samplers. You can even use the FM Essential iOS app to communicate with this synth using your smartphone or tablet. The app also gives you access to the FM synthesis engine that contains 256 iconic '80s-style voices.
