2014 Rickenbacker 330 in Ruby Red Metallic, USED
Since its release in the late 1950s, the 330 has been a mainstay on the popular music scene and is frequently linked to many important "jangle-rock" sounding guitar players from the 1960s and 1980s, such as John Lennon, Paul Weller, Thom Yorke, and Pete Townsend. The 330 is part of perhaps Rickenbacker's most recognisable model range (the 300 series).
With traditional Rickenbacker appearance and sounds and a stunning Ruby Red finish.
The 6-string Rickenbacker 330 in question has a Maple body and neck, a Rosewood fretboard (with dots), and a lacquered Ruby Red finish. It also has a Maple fretboard. The "R" tailpiece, teardrop scratchplate, two High Output Rickenbacker single coil pickups, and that wonderful Blend control knob are further appointments.
The iconic "Twin Crescent" cutaway form, which has remained mostly constant since the late 1950s, is used in the construction of the Rickenbacker 330. You get complete access to the whole fretboard range and a comfortable playing experience thanks to this lightweight, semi-hollow dual cutaway construction. For guitarists looking to emulate the jangly "Brit pop" sound that was popular in the 1960s and 1980s, the sound created by these pickups is ideal.
