The Gibson SG Standard in Ebony with a full-face black 5-ply pickguard is a modern reimagining of the iconic 1960s SG design. Crafted in the USA, it features a solid mahogany body and neck, providing the signature lightweight comfort and resonant sustain that SGs are renowned for. The rounded mahogany neck profile and 12" radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets ensure smooth playability across the fretboard.

Equipped with Gibson's 490R and 490T Alnico II humbucking pickups, the SG Standard delivers a versatile tonal range. The 490R neck pickup offers warm, vintage-inspired tones, while the 490T bridge pickup provides a punchy, articulate sound. The guitar's electronics include two volume and two tone controls, along with a three-way toggle switch, allowing for a wide array of tonal possibilities.

The hardware includes a Graph Tech nut, an aluminium Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, an aluminium stopbar tailpiece, and Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons, ensuring excellent tuning stability and sustain.
