Yamaha CS865 Pro Cymbal Stand
The Yamaha CS-865 is a professional-level double braced boom cymbal stand. It is sturdy, rugged, and can easily adjust.
The CS-865 has plastic plugs in the vertical tubes to prevent them from rattling, which can be picked up by microphones in the recording studio. It keeps your studio drum tracks nice and clean.
This cymbal stand features an infinite adjustment cymbal tilter that lets you adjust and set your boom at any angle, placing your cymbals right where you want them. The hinged boom tilter clamp grips the boom more securely, supporting the cymbal's weight in the center of the pipe provides a more stable setting. It has a memory lock that saves you time when setting up your stand and adds extra security to keep your cymbals right where you put them. A polycarbonate tilter sleeve encases just enough of the head bolt to provide optimum securing of the cymbal and the steel nut allows you to play the cymbal bell without it interfering with the stick. It is built with nylon bushing that holds the pipe firmly in place even when lightly tightened. The wing bolt's durability is boosted since it is tightened with a steel nut. It also features a clipping method for securing the boom arm. Through this specification, the boom arm's primary unit has better scratch resistance even with complex setup adjustments, it provides added peace of mind.
In addition to wide stance legs, the Yamaha CS865 Pro Cymbal Stand has big rubber feet that supply the maximum non-slip grip to keep the stand firmly in place. The CS865 is lightweight and its cymbal holder fits into the main pipe making it easier to pack and transport.
The center tube assembly accommodates the same 22.2mm diameter pipe as found on other stands so you can replace the upper tube assembly with that of another cymbal stand or tom holder.
