Yamaha's MX88 is a synthesizer that's ideal for modern pianists, aspiring music producers, and live performers. This synth has another trick up its sleeve too, it can also be used as a DAW controller! In fact, it even comes with Cubase AI for PC and Mac as well as Cubasis LE for iOS. Adjusting parameters in recording software can be done using certain controls on the MX88 that have assignable functionality. Use the MX88's MIDI interface to control other synths or samplers. You can even use the FM Essential iOS app to communicate with this synth using your smartphone or tablet. The app also gives you access to the FM synthesis engine that contains 256 iconic '80s-style voices.
