The body shape, in combination with the koa fine veneer body and solid Sitka spruce top, has a balanced and clear tone that makes it ideal for a wide range of playing styles and genres.Â
Turn the SC-13E around and you'll find Martin's new Sure Align neck joint. This innovative version of a bolt-on neck has no bulky neck heel to get in your way. When you pair this neck with the deep cutaway you get upper fret access that's unprecedented on a Martin. The neck itself is Martin's low-profile velocity shape that has a subtle taper to keep your hand comfortable up and down the neck.
