Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi Limited Edition Combo Amp – White
Description
The Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi Limited Edition Combo Amp in White takes one of Orange's most popular compact practice amplifiers and gives it a distinctive signature look inspired by Australian guitarist Orianthi.
Underneath the exclusive white paisley-style covering and contrasting black grille cloth is the proven Crush 20RT platform: a 20-watt twin-channel guitar combo with an all-analogue core signal path, separate Clean and Dirty sounds, three-band EQ, digital reverb and an integrated chromatic tuner.
A custom 8-inch Orange Voice of the World speaker, Aux input and CabSim-equipped headphone/line output make it particularly practical for home practice, backstage warm-ups and direct recording. It is compact and straightforward enough for newer players, but its responsive analogue design and broad gain range give experienced guitarists plenty to work with too.

Why Choose The Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi Edition?
Exclusive Orianthi Styling
The most obvious difference is the appearance. Instead of Orange's traditional orange or black covering, this signature edition features an elegant white patterned finish with black grille cloth, giving the amplifier a distinctive stage and home-studio presence.
All-Analogue Core Guitar Signal Path
The Crush 20RT is designed around a responsive analogue preamp rather than digital amp modelling. That keeps operation familiar and immediate: plug in, choose your channel, adjust the gain and EQ, and play.
Separate Clean And Dirty Channels
The Clean channel provides clear everyday guitar tones, while the Dirty channel moves from light crunch through to substantially more saturated distortion. This gives you enough range to practise several different styles without needing an external drive pedal.
Built-In Reverb
The integrated digital reverb adds space and depth to both clean and driven sounds. It can be used subtly for everyday ambience or increased when you want a more spacious guitar tone.
Integrated Chromatic Tuner
A built-in chromatic tuner means one of the most useful practice tools is always available directly from the amplifier. It is particularly convenient for lessons, home practice and quick backstage setups.
CabSim Headphone And Line Output
Orange's CabSim output is designed to emulate the character of a miked Orange 4x12 speaker cabinet. This makes silent headphone practice more natural and provides a useful option for direct recording into compatible equipment.
Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi Compared With Popular Alternatives
Orianthi Crush 20RT vs Standard Crush 20RT
Functionally, the standard Crush 20RT provides the same core 20-watt twin-channel platform, reverb, tuner and CabSim functionality. Choose the Orianthi Limited Edition when you want that proven specification with the distinctive white signature styling.
Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi vs Crush 20
The Crush 20 gives you the fundamental twin-channel analogue Orange experience at a lower specification. The 20RT adds the two features represented by its name: reverb and tuner, making it a more complete practice solution.
Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi vs Crush 35RT
The Crush 35RT steps up to 35 watts, a larger 10-inch speaker and a buffered effects loop. It is better suited to players who need greater headroom and expect to integrate a more developed pedalboard, while the Orianthi Crush 20RT remains the more compact home and recording option.
Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi vs O-Tone 40
The O-Tone 40 uses a 12-inch speaker, 40-watt output and single-channel clean-focused design with tremolo, making it particularly attractive as a pedal platform. The Crush 20RT Orianthi is better suited to players who want built-in Clean and Dirty channels in a smaller package.
Who Is The Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi For?
The Orianthi Crush 20RT is especially well suited to guitarists who want a compact practice amplifier with genuine character rather than a complicated modelling system.
It is a strong choice for:
-
Beginners looking for a quality first guitar amplifier
-
Intermediate players needing a dedicated home-practice combo
-
Orianthi fans and Orange enthusiasts
-
Rock and blues-rock guitarists
-
Players practising silently with headphones
-
Students wanting an integrated tuner
-
Home-recording guitarists
-
Musicians needing a compact backstage warm-up amp

Suitable Genres And Uses
Rock and hard rock: The Dirty channel provides enough gain for crunchy rhythm sounds and saturated leads without requiring a separate distortion pedal.
Blues and blues-rock: Lower Dirty-channel Gain settings work well for more dynamic breakup and classic driven sounds.
Pop and indie: The Clean channel provides a straightforward foundation for chorus, delay and other external effects.
Home practice: This is one of the amplifier's strongest applications, with manageable output, Aux input, tuner and headphone operation all built into the same compact combo.
Lessons: Straightforward controls make it easy for players to understand how gain, EQ and channel switching influence their tone.
Direct recording: The CabSim-equipped output provides a simple way to capture guitar without having to place a microphone in front of the internal speaker.
Is The Crush 20RT A Good First Guitar Amplifier?
Yes. The Crush 20RT gives a developing guitarist the controls and features needed to learn how a traditional guitar amplifier actually works without introducing a large number of presets and menus.
The separate Clean and Dirty channels make it easy to understand the difference between clean tone and amplifier gain, while the three-band EQ encourages players to learn how Bass, Middle and Treble controls shape their sound. The built-in tuner, reverb and headphone facility also reduce the amount of extra equipment needed when starting out.
What Does Orange CabSim Do?
Plugging headphones directly into an untreated guitar signal can sound unnaturally bright because a guitar speaker normally plays an important role in shaping the final tone.
Orange's CabSim processing shapes the headphone/line signal to imitate the response of a miked Orange 4x12 cabinet. This provides a more convincing amplified-guitar character when practising silently or feeding suitable recording equipment directly.
Story & Context
The Crush series has become Orange's accessible solid-state amplifier family, using the company's familiar control philosophy and analogue preamp approach in compact amplifiers designed for everyday practice and playing.
The Crush 20RT Orianthi Signature Edition gives that established platform a visual identity connected to Orianthi, whose career spans her own solo work as well as major touring roles with artists including Alice Cooper and her involvement with Michael Jackson's This Is It project.
Orange's collaboration with Orianthi also extends to the professional Oriverb valve combo. The limited-edition Crush 20RT brings her distinctive white aesthetic to a much more compact practice and recording amplifier, creating an accessible signature model rather than simply reproducing her full-size touring rig.
Compatibility & Recommended Pairings
Electric Guitars
The Crush 20RT works with conventional electric guitars using passive or active pickups and a standard ¼-inch instrument cable.
Effects Pedals
Overdrive, distortion, fuzz, wah, compression and modulation pedals can be connected through the main guitar input.
The Crush 20RT does not provide an effects loop, so all external pedals are connected before the amplifier's preamp.
Headphones
Compatible headphones can be connected to the CabSim-equipped headphone output for quieter practice.
External Audio Sources
The Aux input allows a compatible music source to be connected so you can practise along with backing tracks, songs and lesson material.
Footswitch
A compatible footswitch can be added for remote channel switching between the Clean and Dirty sounds.

Power Requirements
The Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi Signature Edition is a mains-powered solid-state guitar combo.
It does not require output valves, biasing or routine valve replacement, making it particularly straightforward to own and maintain.
The built-in 8-inch speaker is already matched to the amplifier, so no separate speaker cabinet is required for normal operation.
Fair Deal Music Verdict
★★★★★ 5/5
The Orange Crush 20RT Orianthi Limited Edition takes an already excellent compact practice amplifier and gives it considerably more visual personality.
Underneath the signature white finish is the same combination that makes the Crush 20RT so useful: responsive analogue guitar tones, two channels, three-band EQ, reverb, tuner and CabSim-equipped headphone operation.
It is particularly easy to recommend to players who want something more distinctive than a standard beginner combo without sacrificing straightforward operation.
Best suited for: Home players, students, Orianthi fans and guitarists looking for a distinctive compact practice amplifier.
Main benefit: Clean and driven Orange tones with the essential practice features already built in.
Value proposition: Combines amplifier, overdrive channel, reverb, tuner and headphone-practice functionality in one compact package.
Standout feature: The Orianthi-specific white patterned finish and contrasting black grille cloth.
Customers usually upgrade from: Small starter amplifiers when they want better tone shaping, separate Clean and Dirty channels and more useful practice features.
Most commonly paired with: A quality instrument cable, headphones, compatible channel footswitch and a small selection of drive or modulation pedals.
Our tip: Don't overlook the lower half of the Dirty Gain control. The Crush 20RT can produce useful edge-of-breakup and classic-rock sounds before you reach its more saturated settings.
Showroom feedback: The Crush 20RT remains a particularly strong practice amp because it offers enough tonal range to stay interesting without asking the player to navigate complicated software or menus. The Orianthi edition adds a finish that genuinely stands apart.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Orianthi Crush 20RT different from the standard Crush 20RT?
The core amplifier specification is based on the Crush 20RT platform. The Orianthi Signature Edition distinguishes itself through its special white patterned covering and black grille styling.
Is the Crush 20RT suitable for beginners?
Yes. Its conventional controls are easy to understand, while separate Clean and Dirty channels, EQ, reverb and tuner give a new player enough flexibility to develop without immediately needing another amplifier.
Can I practise silently?
Yes. The CabSim headphone output allows compatible headphones to be connected while providing speaker-style tonal shaping.
Does the amplifier have a built-in tuner?
Yes. An integrated chromatic tuner is provided directly on the amplifier.
Can I switch channels with a footswitch?
Yes. A compatible footswitch can be connected for remote Clean/Dirty channel switching. The footswitch is available separately.
Can I play backing tracks through the amplifier?
Yes. The Aux input can accept a compatible external audio source for playing along with music, backing tracks or lesson material.
Does the Crush 20RT have an effects loop?
No. External pedals are connected through the front input rather than through a separate effects loop.
Is 20 watts enough for rehearsal?
That depends heavily on the other musicians and overall rehearsal volume. The Crush 20RT is primarily at home as a practice, teaching, recording and backstage amplifier. Players regularly rehearsing with a loud drummer may prefer a larger model such as the Crush 35RT or another higher-powered Orange amplifier.
Is the Orianthi edition suitable for recording?
Yes. You can record it conventionally by placing a microphone in front of the speaker or use the CabSim-equipped line output with compatible recording equipment.
