The Gibson Custom Shop Joe Bonamassa Les Paul VOS Figured Bonamassa Burst with Bigsby Vibramate is a premium signature instrument from Gibson Custom Shop, crafted in collaboration with blues‑rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa and built to deliver classic Les Paul tonewoods with high‑end appointments and expressive hardware. Its body features weight‑relieved mahogany with a carved figured maple top finished in Bonamassa Burst VOS, showcasing rich flame and depth beneath a vintage‑style nitrocellulose lacquer. The set‑neck mahogany design and rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and trapezoid inlays offer smooth playability and warm acoustic resonance through the 24.75″ scale. 

Electronics consist of Gibson Burstbucker humbuckers — Burstbucker 2 in the neck and Burstbucker 3 in the bridge — wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three‑way selector, providing a broad, dynamic tonal range from soulful neck tones to powerful bridge bite with clarity and vintage character. The control wiring uses quality CTS pots and bumblebee capacitors to deliver pleasing frequency response and touch sensitivity with certainty.
