The P-525 features the highly playable GrandTouch-S™ keyboard, which is also found in Yamaha’s Clavinova digital pianos. The feel of its wooden keys is as close as it gets to the touch of a grand piano.

The P-525 lets you enjoy playing with the voices of the CFX, Yamaha’s flagship concert grand piano and the piano of choice at competitions around the world, and the warm tones of the Bösendorfer Imperial grand piano, all on a single instrument.  The new samples will give the player an even fuller sound than ever before.

IT’S MORE THAN JUST THE SOUND

The richness of the P-525’s sound doesn’t rely solely on great piano samples. It also uses unique technologies to deliver rich and delicate expressiveness.  Grand Expression Modeling technology accurately simulates the complex interplay between player and instrument, reproducing the same limitless tonal variation of a grand piano. Then, Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) faithfully reproduces the extraordinarily complex resonances in a grand piano that are created by the sympathetic vibration of the strings and soundboard.

DEEP, CLEAR, NATURAL SOUND

The two-way speakers produce all sounds from substantial bass and light treble clearly, with no distortion or noise. We angled the speakers slightly toward the bench so that you are enveloped by the sounds as you play.

PERFECT FOR LIVE PERFORMANCES

The P-525 features the Registration Memory function for saving and recalling settings, which is useful and convenient for intimate live performances in cafés, bars, and other small venues. You can program all the Voices and Rhythms in the comfort of your home and call them up at the venue when you are ready to play.

Other features include Sound Boost and adjustable EQ to ensure that the piano can be heard when playing within a band.

SHARE YOUR PERFORMANCES WITH THE WORLD

If you want to take a video of your performance and share it on platforms such as YouTube and TikTok, the free Yamaha Rec’n’Share app is the way to go. Connect the P-525 to your smart device, and record both video and audio at the same time to complete your video.

MORE CONNECTIVITY, MORE FUN

You can now connect to Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app via Bluetooth, which will allow you to operate your P-525, in an intuitive way. You can also load sheet music or extract the chords of your favourite songs with the audio to score function.

And if you want to play with your favourite music, you can simply send it from your smart device via Bluetooth Audio and play along.

DEDICATED STAND AND PEDALS INCLUDED

If you want to play your P-525 like an acoustic piano instead of casually on a tabletop or desktop, Yamaha offer the optional L-515 stand and LP-1 three-pedal unit (including damper pedal with half-pedaling capability) that works just like the pedals on a grand piano.
