61 Full-Size Touch-Sensitive Keys

The Yamaha PSR-E383 features 61 full-size organ-style keys with touch sensitivity.

These include:

• Acoustic pianos

• Electric pianos

• Organs

• Guitars

• Basses

• Woodwinds

• Synthesizers

• Choirs

• Percussion

• Drum kits

These provide backing arrangements covering genres such as:

Auto Chord Play

This allows beginners to concentrate on melodies and musical expression while the keyboard provides harmonic backing.

It is particularly useful for players who are still developing their chord knowledge.

Smart Chord

Yamaha's Smart Chord function simplifies accompaniment playing.

It allows suitable chords to be generated using simplified keyboard input, helping beginners enjoy fuller musical arrangements without needing to master complex chord shapes immediately.

Keys to Success

The Yamaha Keys to Success learning system provides structured practice activities designed to help beginners develop their playing skills.

It allows learners to work through musical passages progressively.

Touch Tutor

Touch Tutor helps players understand and develop control over keyboard dynamics.

It encourages beginners to explore the relationship between playing strength and sound.

This makes it particularly useful for musicians learning to play expressively.

125 Built-In Songs

The PSR-E383 includes 125 built-in Songs.

These provide useful material for listening, learning and practice.

The built-in song collection supports the keyboard's lesson functions and provides a starting point for musical development.

Duo Mode

Duo Mode divides the keyboard into two equivalent playing areas.

This allows a teacher and student to play together in matching note ranges.

It is particularly useful for beginner keyboard lessons.

Registration Memory

Registration Memory allows selected keyboard settings to be stored and recalled.

This is useful when switching between favourite instrument sounds and accompaniment setups.

Recording Function

The PSR-E383 includes a recording function for capturing performances.

This allows players to listen back to their practice and review their progress.

USB TO HOST Connectivity
