The 2006 Fender 60th Anniversary American Stratocaster in 3-Colour Sunburst is a commemorative model celebrating six decades of Fender innovation. This limited-edition Stratocaster features an alder body finished in a high-gloss polyurethane 3-Colour Sunburst, paired with a modern "C"-shaped maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard boasts rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets, enhancing playability and comfort. A special cubic zirconia "Sixty Years" inlay adorns the headstock, and a commemorative neck plate marks the anniversary.

Electronics include three American Vintage single-coil Strat pickups, with the middle pickup reverse-wound/reverse-polarity for hum cancellation. The controls consist of a master volume, tone control for the neck pickup, and a No-Load tone control for the middle and bridge pickups, allowing for a wide range of tonal options.
