We’re beyond excited to share some very special news with our community. On Saturday, 21st March 2026, between 10am and 3pm, Fair Deal Music will be welcoming a very special visitor that kids (and parents!) absolutely love — Bluey will be visiting our store for a fun, feel-good day celebrating music and creativity.

What is the day all about?

This event is all about inspiring children to explore the joy of music in a welcoming, playful environment. Alongside the chance to meet Bluey, we’ll have stations set up around the store where kids can try out a range of different instruments, ranging from pianos and drums through to guitars and ukuleles, encouraging hands-on discovery and giving them the chance to experience making music for themselves. Whether your little ones already love singing and dancing or are just starting to show an interest, this is a great opportunity to spark that creativity.

Throughout the day, there will be opportunities for children to meet Bluey at intervals throughout the day and potentially have photos taken with her, so don’t forget to bring your cameras or phones to capture those special moments. We know this will be a highlight for many families and a memory your little ones will treasure. 

The event is best aimed at children aged between 3 and 8 years old with parents who wish inspire their children to take an interest in and potentially begin their musical instrument journey. The event will be completely free!

For those who don’t know us yet, Fair Deal Music is Birmingham’s largest independent music brand, proudly serving the music community of the West Midlands since 1987. Our flagship city centre store is home to the largest piano and keyboard department in the Midlands, alongside extensive guitar, pro audio, DJ, drums, and orchestral departments, making us a true destination for musicians and music lovers of all ages.

Fair Deal Music began in Birmingham with a simple belief: music should be accessible, inspiring, and passed on to the next generation. What started as a small, passionate business grew from a love of instruments and the joy they bring to people’s lives. Over the years, we’ve seen how a first lesson, a first note, or a first instrument can spark confidence and creativity in a child. By Car

We are located in Birmingham City Centre. Our address is 77 Holloway Head, Birmingham, B1 1QP.

If you’re travelling by car, please note that parking on nearby Marshall Street and at the small Sutton Street Car Park requires payment via the RingGo parking app, so be sure to have this downloaded in advance to make your visit as smooth as possible.

By Train

We’re just a short walk from New Street Station, making it easy to visit by train or on foot. To ensure everyone has a great experience, a queue system will be in place on the day, so we strongly recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.
