DW DWCP2000A 2000 Series Single Bass Drum Pedal

Quick Product Summary

The DW DWCP2000A 2000 Series Single Bass Drum Pedal brings some of DW's established pedal technology into an accessible, durable design suitable for students, working drummers and experienced players alike. Its single-chain Accelerator drive system delivers a responsive feel, while the all-metal frame and drivetrain provide a reassuringly solid foundation.

An adjustable footboard angle, Delta Stroke adjustment, detachable spring system and two-way DW101 beater give you plenty of scope to tailor the pedal to your playing style. A steel base plate with an anti-skid rubber mat helps keep everything planted during energetic playing.

What Makes the DW DWCP2000A Special?

The updated 2000 Series incorporates features inspired by DW's higher-level pedal designs while remaining straightforward and practical. Combined with the robust all-metal construction, it is a pedal designed to handle regular practice, rehearsals and gigs.

What drive system does the DWCP2000A use?

It uses DW's single-chain Accelerator drive system, providing a responsive feel and increasing beater speed as the pedal moves through its stroke.

What is an Accelerator cam?

DW's Accelerator geometry alters the relationship between the footboard and beater during the stroke, helping produce a quick and responsive feel with plenty of attack.

Can I adjust the footboard angle?

Yes. The footboard angle can be adjusted using an accessible drum-key screw, allowing the pedal position to be tailored to your preference.

Can the pedal stroke be adjusted?

Yes. The DWCP2000A features Delta Stroke Adjustment, allowing you to fine-tune the pedal's throw and playing response.

What beater comes with the pedal?

Yes. It features a steel base plate for improved stability.

How does the pedal prevent itself from sliding?

Is it suitable for gigging?

Yes. The all-metal frame and drivetrain, solid steel base and adjustable components make it a practical choice for rehearsals and regular live use.

Can I use it with an electronic drum kit?

Yes, provided the electronic kit uses a kick pad or kick tower designed for a conventional bass drum pedal. Check the electronic drum manufacturer's recommendations regarding suitable beater surfaces.

Is a drum key included?

Does the pedal require any power?

No. The DWCP2000A is completely mechanical and requires no batteries or power supply.
