The Fender American Standard 60th Anniversary Stratocaster in black is a limited-edition U.S.-made electric guitar built on the American Standard platform to commemorate 60 years of the Stratocaster design. It uses an alder body with a gloss black finish, paired with a bolt-on maple neck in a modern “C” profile and a 25.5-inch scale length.

The neck features a 22-fret fingerboard with a smooth back finish for fast playing response, combined with a 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge and bent steel saddles. This bridge design provides stable tuning performance and smooth vibrato movement while retaining classic Stratocaster resonance and feel.

The pickup configuration consists of three single-coil pickups wired through a 5-way selector switch with master volume and two tone controls. The tonal response delivers traditional Strat clarity, with bright bridge articulation, warm neck tones, and the characteristic in-between “quack” positions, all within a modern, stable American Standard platform.
