Quick Product Summary
The Ibanez SR300E-CUB is a versatile 4-string electric bass combining the famously comfortable Soundgear body shape with a slim 5-piece Maple/Walnut neck, dual PowerSpan pickups and powerful active tone shaping. Finished in eye-catching Cerulean Aura Burst, it offers an excellent combination of fast playability, broad tonal flexibility and modern Ibanez styling.
With its 34-inch scale, 24-fret Jatoba fingerboard and Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ with 3-way Power Tap switching, the SR300E is equally comfortable handling clean, articulate tones, thick humbucking sounds and punchier single-coil-style textures.
Introduction
The Ibanez SR series has long been popular with bassists who want a sleek, comfortable instrument capable of covering a wide range of musical styles. The SR300E sits at the heart of that range, offering many of the features associated with more expensive Soundgear models while remaining accessible to developing and experienced players alike.
This SR300E-CUB features the striking Cerulean Aura Burst finish, complemented by Cosmo Black hardware. Its compact contoured body and slim SR neck make it particularly comfortable for extended playing sessions, while the flexible electronics provide considerably more tonal control than a conventional passive bass.

Detailed Features & Benefits
Slim Soundgear Neck
One of the defining characteristics of the Ibanez SR range is its fast and comfortable neck profile. The SR300E uses a five-piece Maple/Walnut neck designed to provide stability, clarity and a responsive playing feel while retaining the slim dimensions for which Soundgear basses are known.
Comfortable SR Body
The contoured Okoume body follows Ibanez's established SR design, with smooth curves that sit comfortably against the player whether performing seated or standing. Its streamlined shape makes the SR300E particularly appealing to players who find larger traditional bass designs cumbersome.
PowerSpan Dual Coil Pickups
A pair of Ibanez PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups provide the SR300E with plenty of output and definition. Their exposed pole-piece design helps produce strong response and harmonic detail while retaining the solid low-frequency foundation expected from a modern bass.
Three Distinct Pickup Voices
The 3-way Power Tap switch significantly expands the available sounds. Tap Mode provides a clearer, more articulate character, Series Mode delivers the thicker and warmer response associated with a dual-coil pickup, while Power Tap Mode combines enhanced clarity with additional low-end weight.
Active 3-Band EQ
Ibanez Custom Electronics give the player dedicated bass, middle and treble boost/cut controls alongside master volume and pickup balance. This makes it easy to reshape the bass for different amplifiers, playing techniques, ensembles and musical styles without relying entirely on external EQ.
24-Fret Jatoba Fingerboard
The Jatoba fingerboard provides a full two-octave, 24-fret playing range. Medium frets offer a comfortable balance between accurate fretting and smooth movement across the neck, making the instrument equally suitable for traditional bass lines and more technical playing.
Accu-Cast B120 Bridge
Ibanez's Accu-Cast B120 bridge uses individually supported saddles to help maintain stable string positioning and efficient vibration transfer. Its 19mm string spacing also provides a familiar playing feel for both fingerstyle and pick techniques.
Cerulean Aura Burst Finish
The CUB version stands apart visually thanks to its Cerulean Aura Burst finish. Combined with the sculpted SR body and contrasting Cosmo Black hardware, it gives the bass a distinctly contemporary appearance without being overly flamboyant.
