Mooer GE100 Pro Multi-FX Processor
Description
MOOER GE100 Pro AI Guitar Multi-Effects Processor with Expression Pedal, Amp Modelling and Looper
The MOOER GE100 Pro takes the accessible, all-in-one concept of the original GE100 and brings it into a new generation of guitar processing. Built around MOOER’s third-generation hardware platform, it combines more than 200 effects and amp models with intelligent tone creation, downloadable captures, third-party cabinet impulse responses and flexible recording connectivity.
Designed for guitarists who want powerful sounds without a complicated pedalboard, the GE100 Pro provides 150 preset locations, a built-in expression pedal and three footswitches within a compact floor unit. Its redesigned interface and bright 3.5-inch colour screen make editing effects, organising presets and navigating practice tools much easier than on a traditional entry-level processor.
The GE100 Pro is equally useful as a home practice system, a portable recording interface, a compact live rig or a first serious multi-effects processor. Bluetooth audio, dedicated headphone monitoring, an 80-second stereo looper, drum rhythms and mobile-device recording make it a particularly complete option for modern players.
Why Choose the MOOER GE100 Pro?
The GE100 Pro offers substantially more processing power and flexibility than the original MOOER GE100 while retaining the straightforward workflow that made the earlier model popular with developing guitarists.
Its effect library covers the complete guitar signal chain, including compression, wah, overdrive, distortion, amplifier modelling, cabinet simulation, equalisation, modulation, delay and reverb. These modules can be arranged into complete patches for clean, crunch, high-gain, ambient and experimental sounds.
Support for MOOER MNRS captures, compatible NAM sample files and third-party cabinet impulse responses gives the GE100 Pro room to grow with the player. Rather than being restricted to its factory library, it can be expanded with additional drive, amplifier and cabinet sounds.
The combination of a colour display, three footswitches, an integrated expression pedal and RGB lighting also gives the processor a more performance-ready layout than many compact beginner units.

More Than 200 Effects, Amplifiers and Cabinets
The MOOER GE100 Pro provides a broad collection of effects covering everything required to create a complete guitar sound.
Its library includes clean boosts, compression, filtering, overdrive, distortion and fuzz alongside a wide selection of amplifier preamp models. Players can shape these sounds further using cabinet simulations, noise reduction, equalisation, modulation, delay and reverb.
This makes it possible to create sounds for a wide range of styles, including:
-
Clean pop and funk
-
Blues and classic rock
-
Indie and alternative guitar
-
Hard rock and modern metal
-
Ambient and worship music
-
Shoegaze and experimental sounds
-
Direct-recorded practice and demo tracks
Because the GE100 Pro provides both amplifier and cabinet processing, it can form the centre of an amplifier-free practice or recording setup when connected to headphones, studio monitors, a mixer or another suitable full-range system.
Intelligent Amp Modelling and Expandable Captures
The GE100 Pro uses MOOER’s reverse-modelling technology to reproduce the response and character of recognisable amplifier preamps.
Rather than offering only a static collection of conventional amp models, the processor can also load compatible sample files. MOOER MNRS technology captures the nonlinear behaviour of amplifiers, preamps and drive pedals, allowing additional sounds to be added to the factory selection.
Compatible NAM capture support opens the unit to a wider collection of community-created amplifier and drive profiles. This gives players the opportunity to explore additional sounds without purchasing a completely new processor.
The cabinet section can also load third-party WAV impulse responses. A suitable IR can make a significant difference to a direct guitar tone by recreating the response of a speaker cabinet, microphone and recording position.
MOOER AI Tone Assistant
The MOOER AI Assistant is designed to make creating guitar sounds more approachable.
Through the MOOER Cloud mobile app, players can describe the type of sound they want and generate a matching preset. This is particularly useful for guitarists who know the musical result they are looking for but are still learning how compressors, amplifiers, cabinets, EQ and time-based effects work together.
A player could begin with a general description such as a clean ambient sound, a warm blues lead or a tight modern rhythm tone. The generated patch can then be auditioned, saved and adjusted manually.
The AI system does not remove the ability to build sounds conventionally. It provides another starting point for experimentation while allowing every important effect parameter to remain editable.
150 Preset Locations with Three-Patch Banks
The GE100 Pro provides 150 preset locations arranged as 50 banks with three presets in each bank.
This three-patch structure works naturally with the processor’s three footswitches. Players can create a bank containing clean, rhythm and lead sounds for one song, then move to another bank for a different musical setup.
Presets can be edited and organised directly from the processor or managed through the MOOER desktop software and mobile app.
The generous memory makes it possible to maintain dedicated patches for different guitars, styles, recording situations and performance sets without constantly overwriting useful sounds.
Flexible Effect-Chain Editing
The effect-chain controls allow individual modules to be selected, edited, activated, bypassed and repositioned.
Changing the position of an effect can dramatically alter the final sound. For example, a modulation effect placed before an amplifier model behaves differently from the same effect placed after the cabinet section.
This flexible structure allows the GE100 Pro to move beyond fixed beginner presets. Players can experiment with effect order, stack compatible drives or build more unconventional signal chains as their understanding develops.
The large colour display makes the active chain and selected parameters easier to follow, helping reduce the menu-heavy feel associated with some compact processors.
Built-In Expression Pedal
The integrated expression pedal can operate as a master volume controller or control an assignable effect parameter.
Potential uses include:
-
Wah effects
-
Volume swells
-
Delay-level changes
-
Modulation-depth control
-
Pitch-based effects
-
Real-time effect adjustment
Including the pedal within the main unit saves space and removes the need to buy and connect a separate expression controller.
This is especially useful for beginners and players assembling a portable rig, while experienced guitarists can use it to make saved patches feel more dynamic and responsive during a performance.
80-Second Stereo Looper
The integrated looper provides up to 80 seconds of stereo recording with unlimited overdubs.
Players can record a chord sequence, rhythm part or riff and then layer additional ideas over it. This makes the looper valuable for practising improvisation, developing harmonies, arranging song ideas and building solo performances.
Stereo operation preserves the width of compatible modulation, delay and reverb effects. This is particularly useful when the processor is connected to two powered speakers, a stereo mixer or a recording system.
The footswitch layout allows recording, playback and overdubbing to be controlled without taking your hands away from the guitar.
Drum Machine and Metronome
The GE100 Pro contains 40 drum grooves and 10 metronome patterns.
These rhythm tools provide an immediate accompaniment for scale practice, chord changes, improvisation and songwriting. They also make the looper more useful by giving players a consistent rhythmic foundation before recording a phrase.
Practising with a drum groove can feel more musical than using a basic click, while the metronome remains useful for focused timing exercises and gradual speed development.
Bluetooth Practice and Backing-Track Playback
Bluetooth audio allows music and backing tracks to be played wirelessly through the GE100 Pro.
Connect a compatible phone or tablet, choose a song or practice track and play along through headphones or the connected output system. This avoids the need for a separate auxiliary audio cable and helps create a convenient home practice setup.
Bluetooth is used for external audio playback. The processed guitar signal travels through the GE100 Pro’s physical audio outputs or USB connection.
USB Recording and Mobile Content Creation
The GE100 Pro includes USB Type-C connectivity for audio recording, playback, data management, sample importing and firmware updates.
It can be connected to a compatible computer and used with recording software to capture processed guitar sounds directly. This is useful for:
-
Recording song ideas
-
Creating demos
-
Producing social-media content
-
Practising with computer-based backing tracks
-
Recording guitar lessons
-
Building a compact desktop studio
Compatible smartphones and tablets can also be connected for mobile audio recording and playback. This gives musicians a convenient way to capture processed guitar audio without placing a microphone in front of an amplifier.
The USB connection also provides access to MOOER’s desktop editing software for detailed preset management, file transfer and firmware maintenance.
Silent Guitar Practice with Headphones
A dedicated 3.5mm stereo headphone output allows the GE100 Pro to be used without a guitar amplifier.
Amplifier and cabinet models create a complete direct sound, making the processor well suited to evening practice, shared accommodation, travel and situations where a conventional amplifier would be too loud.
The separate headphone connection is more convenient than a shared line/headphone socket and allows the stereo main outputs to remain available for other equipment.
Begin with the output level reduced, then raise it gradually to a comfortable listening volume.
Three Footswitches for Practical Live Control
The GE100 Pro uses three main footswitches labelled A, B and C.
Within preset mode, these switches provide direct access to the three sounds stored in the current bank. Combined footswitch actions allow the player to move between banks and access functions including the tuner and looper.
This layout provides more immediate control than the two-switch arrangement found on the original GE100. It is especially useful for performances where clean, rhythm and lead tones need to be recalled quickly.
The built-in RGB lighting system gives the processor a distinctive appearance while also improving visual feedback on a dark stage or in a rehearsal room.

Connecting the MOOER GE100 Pro
Into a Guitar Amplifier
Connect the left output to the input of a guitar amplifier for mono operation. Starting with a clean amplifier channel helps preserve the character of the GE100 Pro preset.
When using amplifier and cabinet models through a traditional guitar speaker, experiment with the cabinet section and output settings. A guitar amplifier and speaker already shape the frequency response, so bypassing cabinet simulation can produce a more natural result in some amplifier-based setups.
Into a Mixer, PA or Powered Speaker
Connect the left and right outputs for stereo operation or use the left output alone for mono.
Keep the amplifier and cabinet blocks active when connecting directly to a full-range system. This provides the speaker and microphone character required for a complete direct guitar sound.
Into Studio Monitors
Connect the stereo outputs to a suitable audio interface, monitor controller or pair of powered studio speakers.
Stereo effects such as chorus, delay and reverb can then be heard with their full width.
Into a Computer
Use the USB data connection for desktop editing, preset management and direct audio recording.
Select the GE100 Pro as the input and output device within compatible recording software, then set the recording level before capturing a performance.
Into a Smartphone or Tablet
