Description
Quick Product Summary
The Schecter Demon-7 in Crimson Red Burst is a powerful extended-range electric guitar built for players who want tight low-string response, active pickup performance and fast modern playability. Its basswood body is paired with a maple Thin "C" neck, wenge fingerboard and extended 26.5" scale, helping the low seventh string remain defined and controlled.
Twin Schecter Diamond Active HB-105S humbuckers provide the strong output and focused response required for high-gain rock and metal tones, while the fixed string-through bridge keeps tuning and setup straightforward. With 24 X-Jumbo frets, Gothic Cross inlays and black chrome hardware, the Demon-7 combines an aggressive visual identity with a practical specification for modern heavy music.

What Makes the Schecter Demon-7 Special?
The Demon-7 is designed around the demands of heavier modern guitar styles. Its 26.5" extended scale length helps provide additional tension and definition on the lowest string, while the maple Thin "C" neck, flat 16" fingerboard radius and 24 X-Jumbo frets offer a fast and controlled playing surface for both technical riffing and lead work.
Its pair of Schecter Diamond Active HB-105S humbuckers gives the Demon-7 a strong, immediate response that works particularly well with distortion and high-gain amplification. The uncomplicated volume, tone and three-way switching arrangement keeps operation straightforward, while the string-through fixed bridge makes routine restringing and setup simpler than on a floating tremolo-equipped 7-string.
Who Is It For?
The Schecter Demon-7 is particularly well suited to players who want to explore extended-range guitar with a straightforward fixed-bridge design and powerful active pickups.
It is an excellent choice for:
-
Modern metal guitarists
-
Progressive players
-
Djent and technical-metal musicians
-
Hard-rock guitarists
-
Players experimenting with lower tunings
-
Guitarists moving from six to seven strings
-
Rhythm players who need tight low-string definition
-
Lead players wanting 24-fret access
-
Intermediate and advancing musicians
-
Home-recording and gigging guitarists
Why Choose A 7-String Electric Guitar?
A 7-string guitar adds an extra low string, normally tuned to B beneath the conventional six strings. This expands the available range while retaining the familiar notes and chord shapes of a standard guitar across the remaining strings.
The Demon-7's 26.5" scale length is particularly useful for extended-range playing because it helps maintain greater tension on the low B string. This can give heavy riffs a tighter and more articulate response, especially when using substantial amplifier gain.
