Schecter SLS Elite-4 Evil Twin, Satin Black
The Schecter SLS Elite-4 Evil Twin in Satin Black is a modern performance bass designed with a darker aesthetic and advanced construction for demanding players. It features a swamp ash body paired with an ultra-access cutaway, allowing comfortable reach across the entire fretboard. The visual identity is deliberately minimal and aggressive, with a satin black finish that complements the instrument’s streamlined contours and stage-ready presence.
The bass is built around a neck-thru design using a seven-ply maple, walnut, and padauk neck reinforced with carbon fibre rods for added stability and sustain. This ultra-thin neck has a Thin C profile with a 16″ radius, offering a fast, controlled feel across its full 34″ scale length. An ebony fingerboard with Roman numeral inlays and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets provides a smooth playing surface with long-term durability and precise note articulation, while a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut supports consistent tuning and resonance.
Electronics are handled by a pair of Fishman Fluence Bass soapbar pickups, delivering a wide tonal range through an active control layout. The controls consist of a master volume with push-pull single-coil functionality, a blend control, a 2-band Fishman EQ, and a three-way voicing toggle offering Classic, Funk, and Modern modes. Hardware includes a Schecter custom bass bridge that supports both string-through-body and top-load configurations, contributing to tuning stability, sustain, and flexible setup options.
