Description
The Vintage® Coaster Series™ electric guitars and basses feature Vintage's renowned craftsmanship, exceptional playability, time tested hardware and sonic versatility that have indeed, earned the Vintage brand, enormous respect from musicians and the music media around the world.
With a stunning finish, a 3-ply scratch plate, chrome hardware and black control knobs, the Vintage Coaster Series double cutaway V49 electric bass guitar is a fine example.
Available as a 4 or 5 string model with a solid paulownia body, a bolt-on maple neck, 20 fret rosewood fingerboard (maple on the 5-string) inlaid with dot position markers, the V49 delivers tight, natural piano-like tones, with a fine balance of high, mid and low frequencies enhanced by a pair of Entwistle XJC single coil pickups.
The pickups themselves have been specifically designed for the V49 by none other than the legendary British guitar builder and designer Alan Entwistle.
Tech heads may like to know that the Entwistle pickups feature quality ceramic magnets, are wound with high grade copper wire and dipped in high viscosity wax to isolate and protect the coils from moisture, whilst reducing microphonic feedback issues.
For non-savvy tech head guitar players, just plug in and listen to the exceptional clarity and full range tonal response that’s perfect for all kinds of music, from country to blues, jazz to pop, rock and metal.
With super smooth, open-geared machine heads, a fully adjustable 4 or 5 string saddle bridge, intonation is accurate, precise and ensures tuning stability.
Whilst the Vintage Coaster Series V49 is an exciting choice as a first 'serious' 4 or 5 string rock bass guitar, for the ultimate sonic experience, this excellent model is also available in the Vintage Coaster Series Bass Guitar Pack, a complete self-contained outfit that’s fully equipped with everything required for aspiring guitar players of all ages, including Vintage branded plectrum, strap, strings, carry bag, lead, clip-on chromatic tuner, Kinsman 10 watt bass combo amplifier with Master Volume control, 3-band EQ and headphone socket for silent practicing.

Good to Know
How long is the warranty period?
For new products, you will get the full manufacturer warranty. For our second-hand products, we will cover any fault within 4 weeks of the purchase of any guitar. For pianos, that will be extended to 3 months.
What is the estimated delivery time?
We use the 24hr delivery in UK mainlands if it can be delivered by post. For Scotland and Wales, it depends on the area and the distance from our warehouse, but our aim is to get you order to your hands as soon as possible.
For products that cannot be posted, we will arrange the delivery with you to suit your schedule and deliver it to you
Do you offer international shipping?
We usually can ship instruments worldwide. Please get in touch to get a quote
What is the maintinance on your USED products?
- Guitars: Every guitar will be setup to a high playing standard before shipping. The electronics are checked and if there is any issue with guitar, it will be fixed.
- Pianos: Every piano is fully tested to make sure it's fully functional, cleaned, and if it's digital, a facroty reset is performed.
Do you offer assembly and installation?
We offer installation and assembly for pianos, drum kits, or any products that require it for and extra charge. Please get in touch so we can provide you with a quote.
