Complete Passive PA Package
This bundle combines the main components of a traditional passive PA system into one convenient package. At the output end are two Wharfedale Titan 12 passive speakers, lightweight 12" two-way cabinets designed for portable sound reinforcement. Their moulded enclosures make them particularly well suited to mobile setups, rehearsal rooms and general-purpose PA duties.
Driving the speakers is a KAM KXR150 stereo power amplifier, with an Alesis MultiMix 16 USB handling your microphone, instrument and playback sources. Two speaker cables and two audio patch cables are also supplied, along with protective bags for both Wharfedale speakers.
What Makes This PA Bundle Special?
Rather than being limited to a fixed powered-speaker setup, this system uses separate speakers, amplification and mixing. That modular approach makes individual parts easier to replace, upgrade or integrate with other PA equipment later.
The Alesis mixer is particularly useful thanks to its combination of traditional analogue mixing facilities, onboard effects and USB connectivity, giving the package potential for both live sound and basic computer recording applications.
Why Choose This PA Bundle?
Two Wharfedale Titan 12 Speakers
The Titan 12 is a versatile 12" two-way passive PA enclosure with a 12" low-frequency driver and compression high-frequency driver. Its relatively lightweight polypropylene cabinet makes it easier to transport than many traditional wooden PA enclosures while still providing the projection required for general sound reinforcement.
Alesis MultiMix 16 USB Mixer
The MultiMix 16 USB combines analogue mixing with computer connectivity. It provides multiple microphone and line-level inputs, onboard effects, three-band channel EQ and dedicated main, monitor and headphone outputs.
For musicians, rehearsal rooms and small live setups, this provides substantially more control than simply plugging a source directly into a power amplifier.
Separate KAM Power Amplification
The rack-format KAM KXR150 provides two channels of amplification and supports common professional and consumer line-level connection formats.
It is worth noting that the KXR150 is a relatively modest-powered amplifier compared with the maximum handling capability of the Titan 12 speakers. This makes the supplied combination best suited to moderate-volume applications rather than extracting the maximum possible SPL from the Wharfedale cabinets.
Useful Accessories Included
Both speakers are supplied with protective bags, helping keep the cabinets covered during transport and storage. Two speaker cables and two audio patch cables are also included, reducing the additional equipment required to get the core system connected.
Why Choose A Passive PA System?
A passive PA separates the loudspeakers from their amplification. Although this requires an external power amplifier and additional cabling, it also creates a highly modular setup.
Speakers, mixer and amplifier can each be changed independently as requirements grow. This can make a traditional passive system particularly useful in rehearsal spaces, community venues, schools, small halls and installations where equipment may gradually be expanded or replaced.
Who Is It For?
Bands & Rehearsal Rooms
A useful foundation for vocal reinforcement, backing tracks, keyboards and other line-level sources during practices and lower-volume performances.
Presentations & Community Events
The straightforward mixer-and-speaker format makes the package suitable for speech, presentations, meetings and community events where multiple audio sources need to be controlled.
Schools & Practice Spaces
Separate components make the system flexible for environments where different microphones, instruments and playback devices may need to be connected.
First-Time PA Buyers
Because the mixer, amplifier, two speakers and essential cabling are supplied together, this is an accessible way to acquire the core components of a traditional PA system in one purchase.
Story & Context
Wharfedale Pro's Titan range became popular as a portable alternative to heavier conventional PA cabinets, combining moulded polypropylene construction with full-range two-way speaker designs.
The Alesis MultiMix series similarly focused on versatility, bringing traditional analogue mixing together with onboard digital effects and USB computer connectivity. Combined with a conventional rack-mount KAM power amplifier, the result is a traditional but flexible approach to building a small PA system.
How Does It Compare?
Versus Active PA Speakers
Modern active speakers have their amplification built directly into each cabinet, which can simplify system setup. This passive Titan system requires the external KAM amplifier, but the modular design allows the amplifier, speakers and mixer to be upgraded independently.
Versus A Higher-Powered Amplifier
The Titan 12 speakers are capable of handling significantly more power than the KXR150 can provide. A higher-powered, appropriately matched amplifier would therefore offer greater potential output and headroom.
For speech, rehearsals and lower-to-moderate-volume applications, however, the supplied KAM provides a straightforward way of powering the pair without requiring another amplifier immediately.

Condition Overview
Used / Pre-Owned
This is a complete pre-owned PA bundle, so signs of previous use may be present across the speakers, protective bags, mixer, amplifier and cables.
Please refer closely to the product photographs for the clearest representation of the cosmetic condition of each component.
Because this package contains several individual pieces of equipment, cosmetic wear may vary between the different items.
Fair Deal Music Quality Control Assessment
This bundle brings together recognised PA components in a practical configuration, with the included speaker bags and cabling adding considerably to its usefulness as a complete package.
The KAM KXR150 is considerably lower powered than the maximum handling capability of the Wharfedale speakers, so we recommend the bundle primarily for rehearsal, speech, practice, background music and moderate-volume PA duties. Users requiring significantly greater live sound output could retain the mixer and speakers while upgrading to a more powerful, appropriately matched amplifier in the future.
Fair Deal Music Verdict
★★★★★ 4.8/5
A useful and flexible pre-owned PA package for anyone wanting the key components of a traditional sound system in one purchase.
The Wharfedale Titan 12 cabinets provide a versatile foundation, the Alesis MultiMix gives you plenty of mixing flexibility, and the included bags and cables make the package more complete than buying the individual components separately.
Its strongest applications are rehearsals, small functions, presentations and moderate-volume sound reinforcement. The modular design also leaves plenty of opportunity for future upgrades.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is everything needed for a basic PA included?
The bundle includes the two speakers, power amplifier, mixer, two speaker cables and two audio patch cables. Depending on your intended use, you may additionally require microphones, microphone cables, speaker stands or source-specific cables.
Are the Wharfedale Titan 12 speakers powered?
No. These are passive PA speakers and must be connected to an external power amplifier. The KAM KXR150 amplifier is included with this bundle.
Can I connect microphones to the Alesis mixer?
Yes. The MultiMix 16 USB provides microphone inputs and phantom power for compatible condenser microphones.
Can the Alesis mixer connect to a computer?
Yes. The MultiMix 16 USB includes an integrated USB audio interface. As this is an older discontinued mixer, customers intending to use the USB functionality with a modern computer should confirm compatibility with their particular operating system and recording setup.
Could I upgrade the amplifier later?
Yes. One advantage of this modular passive system is that the power amplifier can be changed independently. An appropriately matched higher-powered amplifier would allow substantially more of the Titan 12 speakers' available output and headroom to be utilised.
