Chapman Ghost Fret Pro Black Burst Satin, (Used)
The Chapman Ghost Fret Pro Black Burst Satin features a solid Korina body carved into the distinctive “Ghost-Fret” shape, topped with a satin-finished carved top. Its neck-through construction uses a maple neck with a satin finish and is fitted with a Macassar ebony fingerboard that has rolled edges. The fretboard includes 22 jumbo stainless-steel frets on a 24.75" scale, and inlays consist of glow-in-the-dark side dots and a pearloid “Infinity” 12th-fret inlay for subtle, low-light visibility.
For pickup configuration, the Ghost Fret Pro comes equipped with dual humbuckers: a Seymour Duncan Distortion (ceramic) in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan Alternative 8 (Alnico) in the bridge. The controls consist of a master volume knob and a master tone knob with push-pull coil-split functionality, plus a 3-way pickup selector switch — enabling a range of tones from full humbucker output to split-coil single-coil tones. The hardware includes a string-through hardtail bridge for enhanced sustain, Hipshot Grip-Lock locking tuners for tuning stability, and a Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut.
With its combination of high-output pickups, ergonomic contours, locking hardware and versatile electronics, the Ghost Fret Pro Black Burst Satin is suitable for styles from high-gain metal and rock to more nuanced clean or chugging rhythm work. Its build and feature set make it a robust, stage-ready instrument with flexibility for a variety of musical genres.
