The Darkglass B1K is a compact bass overdrive/distortion pedal designed to deliver Darkglass’s signature saturation in a mini format suitable for pedalboards. It features intuitive controls, including Level and Drive, which allow adjustment of the output volume and the amount of overdrive applied to the bass signal, offering a range from subtle grit to aggressive distortion. Its rugged metal chassis ensures durability for both stage and studio use, while the small footprint makes it easy to integrate into any pedalboard setup.

Additional tonal shaping is provided through Blend, Tone, MBoost, and Grunt controls. The Blend knob mixes clean and overdriven signals, while Tone adjusts the high‑frequency content. The Mid Boost switch provides a midrange lift for added presence, and the Grunt switch enhances low‑end punch for thicker distortion tones. These features give players precise control over their sound, making it versatile across different genres and playing styles.

The pedal is powered by a standard 9 V DC supply and draws minimal current, allowing integration with common pedalboard power setups. Its input and output impedances are optimised for bass instruments, ensuring consistent tone and response.
