Washburn EA-36 Marquee Natural, (Used)
The Washburn EA-36 Marquee Natural is a Festival Series thin-body acoustic-electric guitar designed for stage performance with minimal feedback. The body, top, back, and sides are all made from bird’s-eye maple; it has a mahogany neck and a bound rosewood fingerboard. The scale length is about 25.6 inches, and the nut width is approximately 43 mm.
It features Equis II electronics with both ¼-inch and balanced XLR outputs, plus onboard controls for volume, EQ, and a contour switch. The guitar has a rosewood bridge, gold die-cast tuners with abalone or mother of pearl buttons, and decorative inlays including slotted diamond and mother-of-pearl accents. The soundhole is replaced by nine narrow diagonal slots under the fretboard rather than a traditional round soundhole.
The finish is Natural, gloss, showing off the maple grain and birdseye figuring. The body is thin with a sharp cutaway to allow upper fret access. The combination of woods, electronics, and design make the EA-36 suitable for players who need acoustic tone with electric-like feedback control for live or amplified settings.
