The Kramer NightSwan in black with blue polka dots is built around a double‑cutaway mahogany body and a bolt‑on 3‑piece hard‑maple neck, with an ebony fretboard that has a 16" radius, 24 medium‑jumbo frets, and pearloid “ping‑pong” inlays. The standard design includes a 24.75” scale length and a Floyd Rose Special Series double-locking tremolo with a locking nut.

This version has had two aftermarket humbuckers replace the original pickups and an additional hot‑rail style pickup has been routed into the neck position. The installation of aftermarket humbuckers brings a fuller, hotter output compared with the original pickups while the hot-rail pickup allows for a more aggressive, high-output humbucking sound. The additional neck-position humbucker expands the tonal palette, offering a broader range — whether for heavier rhythm, thick leads, or more saturated distortion — beyond the stock middle/bridge layout.

The modified NightSwan retains its core structural and ergonomic characteristics: double-cut mahogany body, bolt-on maple neck, ebony fretboard, locking tremolo system, and super‑strat body silhouette. With the upgraded electronics and pickup configurations, it becomes a more versatile instrument suited to high-gain rock, metal, or shred styles, while still supporting the original’s fast neck and tremolo-friendly hardware.
