Epiphone SG Special Sparkling Burgundy, (Used)

The Epiphone SG Special Sparkling Burgundy is a solid-body electric guitar built around the classic double-cutaway SG design. The body is made of mahogany with a gloss finish and is paired with a set-in mahogany neck shaped to a SlimTaper profile. The neck carries a 22-fret Indian laurel fingerboard with a 12-inch radius, giving the guitar a scale length of roughly 24.72 inches.

Electronics consist of two P-90 PRO soapbar single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge positions. Controls include a three-way toggle pickup selector, two volume knobs, and two tone knobs, allowing for independent control over output and tone for each pickup. This setup ensures an articulate single-coil character, combining clarity and bite, well suited to a variety of musical styles.

Hardware includes a wraparound “Lightning Bolt”-style bridge and tailpiece, deluxe tuning machines with ivory-style buttons, a GraphTech nut, and black top-hat control knobs with nickel inserts. The nut width at the headstock is about 43 mm, and the overall build delivers a blend of vintage SG styling and straightforward, reliable functionality.
