The Boss DD-3 is a compact delay pedal offering classic digital delay for guitar, bass, or other instruments. It provides controls for Delay Time (to set how long each repeat lasts), Feedback (to determine how many times the note repeats), and Effect Level (to mix the delayed signal with the original).

The pedal delivers crisp, clean repeats characteristic of early digital delay units — capable of producing anything from short slapback echoes to longer ambient repeats depending on your settings. The delay time range and repeat count make it versatile for rhythmic echo, spacey ambience, or subtle depth under clean passages.

Powered via a 9 V battery or DC adapter and housed in a rugged metal enclosure, the DD-3 integrates easily into pedalboards. It uses buffered bypass, meaning the signal routing and tone remain consistent whether the effect is engaged or not.
