The Fender Bassman '59 Reissue is a 45-watt all-tube guitar amplifier that faithfully recreates the classic 5F6-A circuit from the late 1950s. It features four 10-inch Jensen P10R speakers with alnico magnets, delivering a warm, dynamic tone with a vintage character. The amplifier offers two channels—Normal and Bright—each with its own volume control, allowing for versatile tonal options. The control panel includes Presence, Middle, Bass, and Treble knobs, enabling precise shaping of the sound.

Designed with authenticity in mind, the Bassman '59 Reissue incorporates a tube rectifier (5AR4) and an internal bias control, adhering closely to the original specifications. The cabinet is constructed from solid pine and is covered in lacquered tweed with a striped oxblood grille cloth, reflecting the iconic Fender aesthetic. The amplifier's dimensions are 22 3/8" x 23 1/2" x 10 1/2", and it weighs approximately 24 kg (53 lbs).

This reissue model is part of Fender's American Vintage series, which aims to provide musicians with the authentic sound and feel of vintage amplifiers. While originally designed for bass, the Bassman '59 Reissue has become a favourite among guitarists for its rich overdrive and clean headroom. It's suitable for a variety of genres, including blues, rock, and country, and remains a staple in both studio and live performance settings.
