2001 PRS McCarty Standard in Amber, (Used)

The 2001 PRS McCarty Standard in Amber is a solid-body electric guitar with a mahogany body and a carved maple top. The neck is mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard that has 22 frets, abalone moon inlays, and a “Wide-Fat” neck profile. The scale length is 25 inches and the nut width is about 1.69 inches.

It is fitted with PRS McCarty humbucking pickups in both the neck and bridge positions. Controls include master volume, master tone, and a 3-way pickup selector switch. The hardware uses vintage style PRS tuners and a stoptail bridge.

The finish is original Amber, with a gloss top coat over the maple top which highlights the wood grain. The body-neck-hardware combination delivers warm mids, resonant lows, and clear trebles typical of PRS instruments from that era.
