The Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster in Black is a signature model built to the specifications of Eric Clapton, featuring an alder body with a gloss urethane black finish and a maple neck with a soft "V" profile for a comfortable playing experience. The maple fingerboard has a 9.5″ radius and 22 vintage-style frets, providing a smooth surface for frets and bends while remaining true to classic Stratocaster feel. The neck incorporates a synthetic bone nut and measures approximately 1.65″ at the nut width, delivering a familiar feel in Clapton’s preferred setup.

Electronics include three Vintage Noiseless™ single-coil Strat pickups and an active mid-boost circuit delivering up to 25 dB, in combination with a TBX tone control for additional tonal versatility. The control layout consists of a master volume, a first tone control, and a second tone control tied to the mid-boost and TBX features, along with a five-position blade pickup selector switch covering all standard Strat combinations.
