Rickenbacker 4003 Jetglo, (Used)

The Rickenbacker 4003 Jetglo is a solid-body, neck-through 4-string bass constructed from maple for both the body and neck, which contributes to its renowned sustain and bright tonal character. Its fingerboard is made of rosewood and features signature pearloid triangular inlays, while the neck is bound in white and sports a scale length of 33¼″ (84.5 cm) across 20 frets.

Electronics-wise, the 4003 Jetglo is fitted with two single-coil Rickenbacker pickups, and its controls include two volume knobs, two tone knobs, and a three-way toggle switch. A push-pull vintage tone selector activates a capacitor in the treble pickup circuit when engaged, adding extra high-end bite. It also supports stereo output via Rick-O-Sound, letting players route the neck and bridge pickups independently. 

The hardware features a Rickenbacker 4‑saddle bridge, a matching tailpiece, and Schaller Deluxe tuning machines in chrome. The finish is a high-gloss “Jetglo” polyester, and the body has subtle white binding.
