The Gibson Les Paul Studio in Wine Red features a weight-relieved mahogany body with a plain maple cap, delivering the classic Les Paul tonal characteristics while keeping the instrument lighter than standard models. The body is finished in a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and paired with a glued-in mahogany neck with a SlimTaper profile. The neck supports a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with acrylic trapezoid inlays, offering smooth playability and classic Les Paul aesthetics.

The guitar is equipped with two Burstbucker Pro humbucking pickups, with one positioned at the neck and the other at the bridge. The control layout includes two push-pull volume knobs for coil-tapping, two tone knobs, and a three-way toggle switch, providing a wide range of tonal options suitable for various styles.

Hardware includes a chrome-plated aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece, complemented by Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. The nut is made from Graph Tech to enhance tuning stability, and the scale length is 24.75″ with a 12″ fingerboard radius.
