Martin 00-18V, (Used, Comm)

The Martin 00-18V is a “00”-size (Grand Concert, 14-fret) acoustic guitar that pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, following traditional tonewood combinations for warmth and clarity. The top uses scalloped X-bracing to enhance responsiveness and resonance. The body is compact and comfortable, making the guitar easy to handle for fingerstyle, light strumming, or intimate playing environments. 

Its neck is built from select hardwood and shaped in a “Modified V” profile, with a 1.75" (1 3/4") nut width, which offers a slightly wider, vintage-style feel that many fingerstyle players appreciate. The scale length is 24.9", and the fingerboard is ebony. The guitar joins neck to body with a dovetail joint — a hallmark of traditional Martin craftsmanship — contributing to solid structural integrity and tonal transfer. 

The 00-18V features vintage-style appointments: an old-style “Style 18” rosette and inlays, tortoiseshell-coloured binding and pickguard, an ebony belly-style bridge with a drop-in saddle and bone nut, and open-gear nickel tuning machines with butterbean-style buttons. Its finish is a gloss nitrocellulose with an “ageing toner” aesthetic on the top, giving it a slightly worn-in look that complements its vintage heritage.
