Orange TH30H, (Used)

The Orange TH30H is a two-channel all-tube guitar amp head with a clean channel and a dirty channel. The clean side offers Bass, Treble, and Volume controls, while the dirty side has Gain, Shape, and Volume. There is a switchable power-option that lets you run the amp at 30, 15, or 7 Watts. It uses four EL84 power tubes and four ECC83/12AX7 preamp tubes, plus one ECC81/12AT7 tube in the effects loop.

The TH30H includes a valve-buffered effects loop (low-impedance) to help preserve tone when using pedals. It has speaker outputs for either one 16-ohm cabinet or up to two 8-ohm cabinets. There’s also provision for a footswitch to toggle between channels. The dimensions are approximately 55 x 27 x 24 cm, and the weight is around 15.55 kg.

Tonally, the clean channel delivers crystalline cleans and vintage blues tones, with sweet breakup when pushed. The dirty channel offers high gain distortion, with the Shape control allowing you to sweep the midrange from scooped to boosted for different styles of overdrive. The power switching lets you bring the amp’s output and character down for smaller venues or recording without losing the tonal signature.
