Gibson G-200 EC Acoustic Guitar, (Used)

The Gibson G-200 EC is a jumbo-bodied electro-acoustic guitar from Gibson’s Generation Collection, built in Bozeman, Montana, using all-solid tonewoods. It features a solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid walnut back and sides, giving it a tone that balances crisp articulation with a warm, resonant low end. The body shape is inspired by the classic J-200 super jumbo, but with a slightly thinner depth and a cutaway, making it more comfortable to play and improving access to higher frets.

One of its defining features is the Gibson Player Port, a side-mounted sound port designed to project sound toward the player rather than just outward to the audience. This creates a more immersive playing experience and allows you to hear the guitar more clearly while performing. The neck is made from Utile with an Advanced Response profile, paired with an ebony fingerboard, 25.5-inch scale length, and a TUSQ nut and saddle, all contributing to stable tuning and a smooth playing feel. 

For amplified use, it comes fitted with an LR Baggs Element Bronze under-saddle pickup system, with controls mounted discreetly inside the soundhole. This allows it to function as a stage-ready instrument while maintaining a clean, traditional acoustic appearance. Overall, the G-200 EC is designed as a modern take on the jumbo acoustic, combining classic Gibson body styling with updated ergonomics and features aimed at improving player feedback and usability.
