The DigiTech SDRUM is an intelligent drum machine pedal designed for guitarists and bassists, offering a unique approach to creating drum patterns. Utilising BeatScratch™ technology, it allows users to programme rhythms by simply strumming their strings, translating these patterns into professional-sounding drum accompaniments. The pedal features five distinct drum kits, each tailored to different musical genres, and supports up to 36 song memories, each with three programmable parts—verse, chorus, and bridge—for dynamic song structuring.

Beyond its core functionality, the SDRUM offers additional features to enhance user experience. It includes kick and snare pads for manual beat input, a Guitar Audition button to toggle drum output during strumming, and supports external control via the DigiTech FS3X footswitch.
