DigiTech Whammy Ricochet Pitch Shift Pedal

The DigiTech Whammy Ricochet is a compact pitch-shifting pedal that delivers the iconic Whammy effect without the need for a treadle. Instead, it utilises a momentary footswitch and adjustable rise and fall times to control pitch shifts, allowing for precise and expressive transitions. The pedal offers seven selectable pitch intervals—2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, octave, double octave, and octave plus dry—providing a wide range of tonal possibilities. Its LED Trajectory Ladder offers visual feedback on the pitch shift direction and rate, enhancing usability during performances.

Designed for versatility, the Whammy Ricochet features both momentary and latching footswitch modes, enabling players to choose between temporary pitch shifts or sustained pitch changes. The independent control over rise and fall times allows for customised pitch shift speeds, from rapid transitions to gradual sweeps. This flexibility makes it suitable for various musical styles, from subtle harmonies to dramatic dive bombs.

Built with a sturdy metal chassis, the Whammy Ricochet is designed to withstand the rigours of live performances. It operates on a 9V DC power supply and features true bypass switching, ensuring that your original tone remains unaffected when the effect is disengaged.
