Classic fuzz with modern reliability

The Barrows recreates the sound of classic British fuzz pedals but improves on it with modern refinements. You get the same rich mids, thick lows and biting highs that defined the original style, with the stability and consistency needed for regular performance.

Attack control for wide tonal range

The Attack knob shapes the fuzz character. At lower settings, it provides touch-sensitive, amp-like drive. Turn it higher and you unleash aggressive fuzz with long sustain. This wide sweep lets you find everything from smooth crunch to full-on sonic destruction.

Seamless pedalboard integration

Barrows includes a buffered and phase-corrected output so it works cleanly with pedals after it in your chain. It still sounds best placed first, responding beautifully to guitar volume changes and playing dynamics. Its strong output also makes it a great driver for amps or stacking with other effects.

Compact and road-ready

Housed in a lightweight aluminium enclosure, Barrows is portable and durable. It uses standard 9V DC power, avoiding the quirks of older fuzz pedals that relied on specific supplies or batteries. Hand-assembled in Akron, Ohio, it’s a dependable fuzz pedal built for consistent performance.
