Entwistle HV58 Bridge and Neck Guitar Pickups, (Used)

The Entwistle HV58 Bridge and Neck pickups are a matched set of vintage-style humbuckers designed to replicate late-1950s PAF-style tones. They are built with scatter-wound coils, enamel-coated winding wire, and Alnico magnet options (commonly Alnico II or Alnico V depending on variant), aiming for a more open and “aged” response rather than modern high-output aggression.

The bridge pickup (HV58 Bridge) is wound at around 7.3kΩ DC resistance, with a wider 53.5 mm pole spacing to better align under string spread at the bridge position. It delivers a focused midrange bite with clear top-end articulation, designed to handle both clean tones and driven amp settings while retaining a vintage character.

The neck pickup (HV58 Neck) is around 7kΩ DC resistance with a 53.5 mm pole spacing, producing a warmer, rounder tone with more low-end bloom and smoother highs. It is intended for fluid lead tones and full-bodied clean sounds, complementing the bridge pickup so the set covers a traditional vintage output balance across both positions.
