Faith Blue Moon Neptune Acoustic Guitar, (Used)
The Faith Blue Moon Neptune is an electro-acoustic guitar built around Faith’s Neptune “baby jumbo” body shape, inspired by Patrick James Eggle’s Saluda design. It features an all-solid Indonesian mango wood construction for the top, back, and sides, finished in a distinctive translucent blue burst that highlights the natural grain of the timber. The body includes a cutaway for improved upper fret access, while the neck is made from mahogany and fitted with a Macassan ebony fingerboard and bridge.
The use of mango wood gives the instrument a tonal character different from more traditional spruce or cedar acoustics, with a warm and darker overall response and a slightly softened midrange emphasis. Faith designed the Neptune body shape to provide strong projection and low-end presence without the physical size of a full jumbo acoustic. Additional specifications include quarter-sawn spruce X-bracing, a 650 mm scale length, 43 mm nut width, and Grover Rotomatic machine heads.
For amplified performance, the guitar is equipped with a Fishman INK3 preamp system and Sonicore undersaddle pickup, integrated discreetly into the body for stage and recording use. The instrument combines boutique-style construction details such as flamed maple binding, ebony fittings, and mother-of-pearl fretboard inlays with a visually striking finish that makes each example visually unique due to the varied figuring of the mango wood.
