Fender Custom Shop 60’s Stratocaster Journeyman Relic in 3-Colour Sunburst, (Used)
The Fender Custom Shop 60’s Stratocaster Journeyman Relic in 3-Colour Sunburst is built with a two-piece alder body, finished in an aged nitrocellulose lacquer that gives it a naturally worn look and feel. Its maple neck is shaped to a 60’s Oval “C” profile, topped with a AAA rosewood fingerboard carrying 21 frets. The guitar retains a vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge and period-correct hardware, staying true to the Stratocaster tradition.
For electronics, this Strat is fitted with a custom set of Bare Knuckle pickups. An Irish Tour single-coil sits in the bridge, delivering a hotter output with a punchy, driven character, while a pair of Mother’s Milk pickups occupy the middle and neck positions, offering clear, balanced mid-60’s style tones. A standard 5-way selector, along with master volume and dual tone controls, provide access to a wide range of tonal options.
The combination of alder construction, Bare Knuckle pickup configuration, and traditional hardware gives this guitar a powerful yet versatile tonal character. Its Journeyman Relic finish adds the look and feel of a well-played instrument, while the craftsmanship and attention to detail ensure it remains a high-end example of Fender Custom Shop artistry.
