Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster in 3-Colour Sunburst Electric Guitar, (Used, Comm)
The Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Stratocaster in 3-Colour Sunburst is a USA-made signature model based on Stevie Ray Vaughan’s primary Stratocaster known as “Number One”. It features an alder body finished in nitrocellulose-style gloss sunburst, a bolt-on maple neck with a thick oval profile, and a 25.5-inch scale length. The fingerboard is pau ferro with a 12-inch radius and 21 frets, paired with a synthetic bone nut and gold-plated hardware.
The hardware includes a vintage-style American synchronized tremolo bridge configured in a left-handed orientation with a reversed tremolo arm position, along with vintage-style tuning machines. The design follows the original Fullerton-era Strat architecture while incorporating period-correct aesthetic details such as the engraved SRV pickguard and gold-plated fittings.
The electronics consist of three Custom Shop Texas Special single-coil pickups wired through a five-position selector switch with standard Stratocaster volume and tone controls. The pickup set is configured for higher output than vintage Strat pickups, with a focus on stronger midrange presence and increased drive when used with tube amplification. The circuit maintains a passive wiring design consistent with traditional Stratocaster layouts.
