Manuel Rodriguez C3 Classical Guitar, (Used, Damaged)
The Manuel Rodriguez C3 is a traditionally styled classical guitar built using premium tonewoods and Spanish-inspired construction methods. It features a solid Western Red Cedar top paired with laminated Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering the classic specifications associated with the Caballero series. The guitar is fitted with an Indian rosewood fingerboard and headstock veneer, while the neck is constructed from sapele or Honduras cedar depending on production period, reinforced for long-term stability.
The instrument has a 650mm scale length, 19 frets and a traditional 52mm nut width suited to classical playing techniques. Additional features include nickel-plated machine heads, a rosewood bridge, decorative wood binding and an intricate multi-coloured rosette surrounding the soundhole. The guitar is assembled using traditional construction methods with careful attention to material selection and internal finishing, reflecting the design principles associated with Manuel Rodriguez instruments.
This particular example was previously dropped, resulting in damage to the lower section of the body which caused the soundboard to separate from the sides. The affected area has since been professionally repaired, restoring the structural integrity of the instrument. The repair is stable and the guitar remains fully functional, making it suitable for continued use while retaining the specifications and construction features of the original C3 model.
