The Taylor Gold Label 517e reimagines vintage acoustic character through a modern Taylor lens, delivering a bold, warm, and deeply resonant playing experience. Part of the acclaimed Gold Label collection, this Grand Pacific electro acoustic is designed to capture the rich, seasoned voice of classic flat-top guitars while maintaining the effortless playability and precision craftsmanship Taylor is known for.

Built with solid mahogany back and sides paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, the 517e produces a mature, played-in tone straight out of the case — offering powerful low-end warmth, punchy mids, and smooth, articulate highs. Its slightly deeper Grand Pacific body design enhances projection and resonance, creating an expansive, room-filling sound with remarkable balance and depth.

Taylor’s innovative fanned V-Class bracing and Action Control Neck elevate the playing experience with enhanced sustain, improved intonation, and exceptional comfort across the fretboard. Whether delivering rich open-chord strumming, expressive singer-songwriter rhythms, or detailed fingerstyle passages, the 517e responds with clarity, character, and dynamic sensitivity

Taylor’s warm-voiced Gold Label Collection grows to feature a powerhouse new Grand Pacific with a deeper body and sound. Choose from Indian rosewood or mahogany paired with torrefied spruce, in natural, sunburst and blacktop finish options.

Launched in January 2025, Taylor’s Gold Label Collection introduced a rounder, warmer, more robust flavor of acoustic tone inspired by an older, more traditional acoustic sound — a dramatically different sonic personality from anything previously crafted by Taylor.

Fitting into the distinctive design aesthetic of the Gold Label Collection, the guitars feature Andy’s modified headstock shape with an angled back cut and script- style Taylor logo inlay, a different pickguard shape, and a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge.

Both the rosewood and mahogany models feature a full-gloss body with three finish options for the top: natural, sunburst and blacktop.
