Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Chameleon Electric Guitar, (Used, Comm)
The Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Chameleon is a modern high-performance solid-body electric guitar built around Charvel’s San Dimas platform. It features an alder body finished in a flip-flop Chameleon colour that shifts between tones depending on viewing angle and lighting. The guitar uses a bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement rods, a hand-rubbed satin urethane finish on the back, and a 25.5-inch scale length with 22 jumbo frets and a 12"–16" compound radius maple fingerboard.
The hardware specification includes a Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo system with a recessed route, locking nut, and die-cast tuning machines. The neck uses a “speed neck” profile with rolled fingerboard edges and a heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel, designed for fast access and stable adjustment. The construction is engineered for stability under heavy string tension and aggressive tremolo use while maintaining consistent tuning performance.
The electronics consist of a Seymour Duncan humbucker set with a high-output bridge pickup and a vintage-voiced neck pickup, controlled by a three-way selector switch. The wiring includes a push/pull volume control for coil splitting and a no-load tone control that removes itself from the circuit at maximum setting, allowing the pickups to operate without tone circuit loading. This configuration provides a wide range of tones from full humbucker output to split-coil clarity within a single HH layout.
