Fender Jim Root Stratocaster, (Used)
The Fender Jim Root Stratocaster is a signature model designed in collaboration with Slipknot guitarist Jim Root, tailored for heavy, detuned metal tones. It features a solid mahogany body finished in a satin black lacquer, providing a sleek and minimalist aesthetic. The neck is crafted from maple with a modern "C" profile, offering a comfortable grip for aggressive playing styles. The ebony fingerboard boasts a 12" to 16" compound radius, facilitating smooth chord transitions and precise lead work across all 22 jumbo frets.
Electrically, the guitar is equipped with active EMG pickups: a 60 in the neck position and an 81 in the bridge. These pickups deliver high-output, articulate tones with enhanced sustain, ideal for high-gain applications. The control layout is streamlined, featuring a single volume knob and a three-way pickup selector switch, ensuring simplicity and focus during performances.
The hardware includes black Fender Deluxe Cast/Sealed Locking Tuning Machines and a black 6-saddle strings-through-body hardtail bridge, contributing to excellent tuning stability and sustain. The guitar comes with a deluxe black tweed hardshell case for protection and transport.
