Schecter Solo-II Standard Electric Guitar, Blood Burst – B-Stock
Description
Quick Product Summary
The Schecter Solo-II Standard in Blood Burst combines a classic single-cut silhouette with the fast feel, powerful tones and modern specification associated with Schecter. Its mahogany body, roasted maple Thin "C" neck, rosewood fingerboard and pair of Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers make it a strong choice for rock, alternative, metal and heavier styles while remaining versatile enough for everyday playing.
This example is offered as B-Stock due to a knock to the bottom of the guitar. The impact has caused damage to the strap button and the surrounding finish immediately next to the strap button. This has been taken into account in the B-Stock pricing.

B-Stock Condition Overview
This guitar is classified as B-Stock following an impact to the bottom of the body around the strap-button area.
The knock has damaged the strap button itself and caused finish damage immediately next to the strap button. Buyers should therefore be aware that this instrument does have visible physical damage in this area rather than simply light handling or display marks.
The damage is reflected in the B-Stock price and makes this an attractive option for a player who prioritises specification and value over having a cosmetically perfect instrument.

What Makes the Schecter Solo-II Standard Special?
The Solo-II Standard takes the familiar feel of a shorter-scale single-cut electric guitar and gives it a distinctly Schecter character. The 24.75" scale length provides a comfortable string feel, while the roasted maple Thin "C" neck, 14" fingerboard radius and 22 jumbo frets create a playing surface suited to everything from big rhythm parts to faster lead work and expressive bends.
A pair of Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers provides a strong, full-bodied voice with enough output for driven amplifiers and high-gain sounds, while the simple master volume, master tone and three-way pickup selector keep operation straightforward. Combined with the mahogany body and Tune-O-Matic-style bridge arrangement, the Solo-II Standard offers a compelling balance of traditional single-cut fundamentals and modern Schecter playability.
Who Is It For?
The Solo-II Standard is particularly well suited to players who like the substance and feel of a traditional single-cut guitar but want something with a more contemporary edge.
It is a strong choice for:
-
Rock and hard-rock guitarists
-
Metal and alternative players
-
Rhythm and lead guitarists
-
Players who prefer a shorter 24.75" scale
-
Guitarists moving up from an entry-level instrument
-
Players wanting dual-humbucker versatility
-
Anyone looking for a distinctive single-cut guitar at a reduced B-Stock price
Why Choose A Single-Cut Dual-Humbucker Guitar?
A single-cut electric guitar with two humbuckers is one of the most versatile configurations for players who favour warm, substantial guitar tones. Humbuckers naturally help produce a fuller sound with reduced electrical hum compared with traditional single-coil designs, making them particularly effective when using distortion and higher-gain amplifier settings.
The shorter 24.75" scale also gives the strings a slightly more forgiving feel than many longer-scale guitars. For players who use bends, vibrato, sustained chords or heavier rhythm sounds, this combination can make a guitar feel both powerful and comfortable.

FAQs
Is this Schecter Solo-II Standard brand new?
It is being sold as B-Stock rather than regular new stock because it has sustained physical damage around the lower strap-button area.
What damage does the guitar have?
The guitar has received a knock to the bottom of the body, damaging the strap button and the finish immediately surrounding the strap button.
Why is this guitar cheaper than a standard new example?
The reduced B-Stock price reflects the impact damage around the strap-button area, making it an opportunity for a player who is less concerned about cosmetic condition.
What style of music is the Solo-II Standard suited to?
Its dual humbuckers make it particularly capable for rock, hard rock, alternative and metal, although its conventional pickup controls allow it to cover a wider range of electric guitar styles.
Does it have active pickups?
No. The Solo-II Standard uses a pair of Schecter Diamond Standard humbuckers and does not require a battery.
What is the scale length?
The Solo-II Standard has a 24.75-inch scale length, giving it the familiar, slightly softer string feel associated with many traditional single-cut electric guitars.
What neck profile does it use?
It features Schecter's Thin "C" neck profile, designed to provide a comfortable and relatively streamlined playing feel.
How many frets does it have?
The guitar has 22 jumbo frets on a rosewood fingerboard with a 14-inch radius.
Does the guitar come with a hard case?
A Schecter SGR-Solo-II hard case is sold separately and is not included as standard with the guitar.
Is the Blood Burst finish suitable for players wanting something different from a traditional single-cut?
Yes. Blood Burst gives the Solo-II a much more contemporary visual identity while retaining the familiar proportions and practical benefits of a single-cut design.
